Galway is a song that tells the tale of a friendship being challenged by distance , growing up and growing apart. The song is easy to listen to, soft on the ears and is made for listening to while thinking about people you love. The lyrics describe things we see everyday, people, love, buses, trains and everything in between our journeys in life.
lyrics
I’ll tuck you in at night,
Cause I can’t sleep
Then the morning comes and I can’t seem to run
Leaving you, was never gonna be easy,
But I wasn’t expecting to see you in my daydreams
Gonna miss her big, blue eyes
Gonna miss the way she plays with her hair
Her bus her train, her ticket to Galway
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
It wasn’t weekly, or all that common
But it held a special place, in my heart
And I always wanted to show her how I felt
But I couldn’t ever stand, to watch us falling apart
Gonna miss her big, blue eyes
Gonna miss the way she plays with her hair
Her bus her train, her ticket to Galway
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
Gonna miss her big, blue eyes
Gonna miss the way she played with her hair
Her bus her train, her ticket to Galway
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
Gonna miss her big, blue eyes
Gonna miss the way she played with her hair
Her bus her train, her ticket to Galway
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
It’s really gonna kill me that she’s no longer down the road
And I know I’m being foolish but she’s no longer down the road
I’m sorry for being selfish but she’s no longer down the road.
